SOLUTIONS

Gas and liquid sweetening packages

Treatment packages configured around feed contaminants, product specification, selected chemistry, regeneration needs and operating safety.

Gas and liquid sweetening packages

Typical engineering scope

  • Feed and product-specification review
  • Solvent or treatment-route definition
  • Contactor, separation and filtration integration
  • Circulation, heating and regeneration interfaces
  • Corrosion, materials and chemical handling
  • Control, safeguarding and package documentation

ENGINEERING DELIVERY FRAMEWORK

From a defined duty to an operable handover

Each package is treated as an integrated system—not a collection of isolated equipment. Process, mechanical and control decisions remain connected through traceable, reviewable deliverables.

Design basis & simulation

Freeze the design basis, operating cases, feed composition, normal and turndown capacity, ambient conditions and battery limits before detailed engineering. Mass-and-energy balances, equipment sizing and hydraulics are developed from verified inputs.

Process safety & operability

Review PFDs and P&IDs; support HAZID and HAZOP; define cause-and-effect, ESD and blowdown requirements, maintainability access and control philosophy to reduce commissioning and operating risk.

Multidiscipline engineering control

Coordinate process, mechanical, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation deliverables through a document register, interface control, comment resolution and disciplined change tracking through final and as-built issue.

Technical procurement & fabrication

Prepare datasheets and material requisitions, evaluate bids, review vendor documents, define ITP hold and witness points, control materials, inspect fabrication and track NCRs to closure.

Commissioning readiness

Define mechanical completion, pre-commissioning check sheets, test packs, cleaning and leak testing, loop and logic verification, start-up support and performance testing.

Lifecycle handover

Compile the manufacturing data record, operating and maintenance manuals, recommended spares, lessons learned and a traceable handover dossier for the operator.

Technical Datasheet

Technical Datasheet — Gas and liquid sweetening packages

A public manufacturer datasheet publishes the modular sizes below. These are reference values for amine-solvent circulation and package equipment only—not an industry-wide code limit, gas-feed capacity, or Delham rating.

Published values apply only to the cited equipment family and stated scope; they are not universal code limits or a Delham rating/guarantee.
ParameterPublished reference valueSI / secondary unitsApplication limit
Five-size modular amine-circulation series10, 20, 40, 80 and 120 US gal/min2.27–27.25 m³/hFive published package sizes; this is solvent flow, not gas-feed flow.
Custom amine circulation125–2,000+ US gal/min28.39–454.25 m³/hPublished custom-design envelope; not a standardized series or guaranteed range.
Reboiler duty in the five-size series0.75–5.5 MMBtu/h220–1,612 kWReference-series duty; confirm heat source and project operating cases.
Contactor tower in the five-size seriesOD: 18–30 inOD: 457–762 mm; L: 52.5 ft (16.00 m); 20 traysOne published equipment family; not a universal tower-sizing rule.
Gas throughput and treated-gas limitsProject-specificNot inferred from solvent circulationSet from feed rate/composition, H2S/CO2 partial pressures, product specification and operating cases; agree acceptance criteria contractually.

Published technical source

Applicable pressure and temperature limits are established from the project design basis. The cited market reference does not publish a universal treated-gas flow rate; do not convert its US gal/min solvent figures to MMSCFD.
